On April 15, Japan’s ambassador to Chile, Sone Kenko, visited Agrosuper’s facilities alongside Juan Carlos Domínguez, president of ChileCarne, and company executives, with the objective of gaining firsthand insight into the sector’s production processes and strengthening trade ties between the two countries.
The delegation toured the Rosario plant, located in the municipality of Rengo in the O’Higgins Region, and the Integrated Operations Center. The day began with an in-depth look at the company’s history and operations at the SkyView space. This was followed by a tour of the real-time monitoring system for the entire logistics chain, from the receipt of raw materials for animal feed production to the distribution of the final product.
The visit provided an opportunity to observe the level of development of the Chilean industry, as well as its standards regarding traceability, efficiency, and operational management—key factors in meeting the demands of international markets.
This meeting stems from the long-standing trade relationship between Chile and Japan—one of the sector’s main export markets—and from a desire to continue strengthening mutual trust and understanding between the two countries.
