The award, granted by Deloitte, Banco Santander, and the Universidad Católica School of Administration, highlighted the company’s outstanding business performance.
Coexca, a leading company in the production and commercialization of pork and other foods, was recognized for its outstanding business management with the prestigious Best Managed Companies Chile award. The prize celebrates 35 Chilean companies that have demonstrated exceptional business performance considering four pillars: strategy; capabilities and innovation; culture and commitment; and corporate governance and finance.
The award is given in 48 countries to recognize companies with outstanding performance, and Coexca is one of 35 companies awarded in Chile this year. At the ceremony in Santiago, the Chair of the company’s Board, Claudio Soler, and the General Manager, Guillermo García expressed their pride and gratitude for the award, crediting their success to the commitment and dedication of the company’s more than a thousand workers.
This award “has been possible thanks to the work, commitment, and dedication of each member of Coexca’s large family, who do their part with care and commitment. This has allowed us to become a leading company in animal protein and food production in Chile, a country recognized for its high standards in the most demanding markets worldwide. We are very pleased with this recognition, in a year that was particularly challenging for our company. This award makes us feel proud of what we are building together. We hope to keep growing with each and every one of our staff members and continue to be one of the best Chilean companies in the coming years, contributing to the Maule Region and the country,” said Guillermo García.
With products traded in more than 30 countries and operations in key markets like Tokyo and Madrid, Coexca stands out for its commitment to sustainability and high standards of biosecurity and food safety, cementing its position as a leader in the animal protein and food industry in Chile and the world.
Other Chilean companies that received the award include: Veterquímica, Coagra, Artel, Defontana, Rosen, Sky Airline, Laboratorios Maver, and Virutex Ilko.
