In line with the company’s commitment to quality and food safety in favor of animal and human welfare, Maxagro renewed its certification under these strict standards. “Fulfilling Maxagro’s commitment to quality is only possible with the collective work and collaborative view of all those who are part of the company. This is why we want to congratulate the teams that achieved the certification under two demanding international standards: BRCGS and Global GAP,” the company said in a statement.
The BRCGS certification was granted to Maxagro’s slaughter plant, while the Global GAP certification was obtained by the pig feed mills in Chillán Viejo and Santa Lucía. It should be noted that the Global Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standard verifies that animal feed production and facilities comply with internationally recognized best practices.
