The initiative “Together for children” was implemented by the Chilean Confederation of Production and Trade (CPC in Spanish) and the Community of Solidary Organizations to help improve the quality of life of children living in residences managed by the Chilean National Children’s Service (Sename) by connecting them with companies. The project recognized collaborating companies for their commitment to their work with children during 2020.
Some of the organizations honored are Copec, an oil and gas company, Parque del Recuerdo cemeteries, and ChileCarne’s member, Maxagro. Due to their outstanding work, they all received a painting made by children that live at one of Sename’s 66 residences countrywide.
Copec was celebrated for implementing a successful virtual volunteer plan in partnership with the Koinomadelfia Foundation, a home for children.
