FISA and the National Agricultural Society (SNA) will organize the first “International Conference and Fair on Innovation and Technologies in Agri-food, CfiAgrotech 2023”. The pioneering summit is expected to host around 300 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors.
The world of agriculture and food transformation will come together for the first time at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center, to bolster Chile’s leadership in agri-food by showcasing its production capacity and attracting new financing opportunities, both locally and internationally.
Held from October 24 to 26, CfiAgrotech will aim to update the market on the new technologies and experts in the area, promoting an exchange of experiences and knowledge, especially in a time where the demand for healthy and sustainable ingredients and foods is booming. As an added value, the fair will offer the experience and network of leading institutions such as CFIA France and Agrofoods Europe.
During the three-day event, CfiAgrotech will provide over 10,000 m2 of exhibition space, where the Chile Conscious Origin program (ChOC) will also be present. It will showcase the benefits, testimonies, and success stories of the program across participating industries: poultry, pork, dried plums, and milk. On the occasion, ChOC will highlight concrete examples of its commitment to agri-food sustainability.
The conference will begin on the 24, with sustainability taking center stage. Issues such as regenerative agriculture, ESG reports, and green financing will be covered. Additionally, the certification ceremony for the pork industry as part of the ChOC program will be held on this day. The certification will be awarded to the pork producers who have already adopted sustainability standards successfully.
On October 25, the conference will focus on innovation, exploring R&D needs and the logistics and distribution dynamics in the era of data science, as well as IoT innovations in traceability.
The final day will be dedicated to the latest technologies. Attendees will be able to join panel discussions on robotics and automation in the agri-food sector, food safety trends, the digitization revolution in the 5.0 industry, and the future of food production logistics.
