[:en]Agrosuper signed an agreement with the restaurant chain TGI Friday’s in the United States to become one of its main suppliers. According to this, the company shall take the nearly 450 locations in United States with 12 delivered containers monthly with chicken wing IQF (Individual Quick Freezing).
According to John Luer, Agrosuper International Sales Manager, the company has been making a great effort for a long time to establish and position itself, not only in Chile, but in the whole world. “In recent years, we have boosted exports of our products to different markets. Thus, in 2017, international sales accounted for 41% of total sales, where the US accounted for 21.6% of total sales, the main export destination, “said Luer.
“It’s a big step for our business in the Food Service channel, since Friday’s is a key player to be recognized in this segment. It presents a great opportunity for the export of other products and also for other markets in the future, “he adds.
In addition, from Agrosuper comment that the increase in exports is focused on the opening of its international offices in the US (Atlanta and Los Angeles), Mexico, China, Japan and Italy.
